Q1. How do I get my son/daughter connected to the student ministry? Answer: If you need help getting your son or daughter connected to our ministry... Please allow us to help. We promise we will do three things:

(1) We will have one of our leaders call and/or write your student to personally invite him/her to one of our events.
(2) We will have one of our student leaders do the same as #1.
(3) We will share whatever information we can that might help you help your student get involved. For example, your son/daughter might say, " I don't know anyone who goes there." That is a fair concern, but chances are high that from the many students who are involved in our student ministry, they will know someone. We'll give you names, offer options and be waiting for them to arrive at a program so they will have someone to sit with.

Q2. Does the student ministry need additional volunteers? If so, how do I get involved? Answer: Yes, we are always looking for adults who want to be involved in the student ministry. If you are interested in serving in an exciting ministry in our church, you will be part of a great team of men and women who range in age.

There is no stereotype of a good student ministry volunteer that you must fit:
-You don't have to be an award winning Bible teacher
-You don't need to be cool
-You don't need to be young
-You don't need to listen to rap music

Here is what you need:
-A caring heart
-A love for God
-An interest in Teenagers

Q3. What kind of help do you offer to parents of teenagers? Answer: We want you to know that we believe in doing ministry with and for the parents of teenagers. We have at best two hours a week with your son/daughter. You, as parents, have over 25 hours a week with your son/daughter. So you, as parents, do make a difference.

We offer some parenting helps like: Making you aware of web resources and excellent books on parenting.
